Our Statement of Faith

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, inerrant, Word of God. It is the ultimate source for knowledge about God, as well as the definitive guide for our daily lives (2 Tim 3:16,17; 2 Pet 1:16-21).

The Godhead

We believe that there is one God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments Who is eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (2 Cor 13:14, Col 2:9). They are coequal in their divine perfection (1John 5:7).

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (Rom 3:25-26; 1 Cor 15:3-8; 1 Tim 3:16, Rev. 1:7).

The Messiah

We believe that salvation is an act of God’s grace, which cannot be earned or obtained through good deeds but can only be received through faith in Jesus Christ, who died to bear the penalty for humanity’s sin. Upon sincere repentance and wholehearted acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior, we are justified before God and restored to a relationship with Him (John 3:16; Rom 3:23; 2 Cor 5:21; Eph 2:8; Heb 9:22; 1 John 1:9).

Regeneration

We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells all true believers, enabling them to exhibit the spiritual fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control as evidence of a Spirit-filled life (Acts 19:6; 1 Cor 12:8-11; Gal 5:16, 22-23; Eph 4:11, 30-32).

Baptism

We believe that water baptism is an outward sign of an inward work and is for all those who have placed their personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It bears witness to the Gospel of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for us, as well as our own new life in Him (Matt 28:19; Rom 6:4).

The Church

The Great Commission

We believe that the Church is God's ordained Embassy on earth. Headed by Christ and composed of all true believers in Him, the Church is organized for worship, fellowship and communion, and for the spiritual growth and support of the believer (Acts 16:5; 1 Cor 12:12-13; Eph 2:19-22; Heb 10:25).

The Great Commission

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers the Church to fulfill the Great Commission through worldwide evangelism and discipleship (Matt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; James 5:20; 2 Peter 3:9).

We believe in the spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:21).
